In the Icelandic highlands you can make many plans for good trips, but in the end it is the weather that determines what can be done. Our planned route had to be adjusted due to roads that were closed, as there was still snow. In July. But as always, plan-B also became a wonderful adventure, where we crossed the lava desert in the interior of Iceland, twice.
